IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR THE BENEFITS OF PLAYING BOX LACROSSE, YOU HAVE TO ACTUALLY PLAY REAL BOX LACROSSE.
While many club teams are advertising "box lacrosse" as a small part of their "year-round" program, Team Superstar is a dedicated Box Lacrosse Program. Our focus is on teaching real box lacrosse fundmamentals and technique in an actual box lacrosse environment. We are a USBOXLA sanctioned program with a highly experienced, professional staff. Team Superstar lead coaches Roy Colsey and Oliver Marti have extensive box lacrosse playing and coaching experience and have both been professional box lacrosse players and members of the USBOXLA National Team Staff. In fact, Coach Marti grew up in Canada playing box lacrosse and has played for the Canadian National Team & Coach Colsey is a former 1st Team NLL All-Pro and NLL Scoring Leader!
Team Superstar Box Lacrosse is teaching and playing Authentic box lacrosse, in a hockey rink, with boards, using box lacrosse goals, full goalie equipment and legitimate Box Lacrosse Rules (USBOXLA). We aren't simply playing field lacrosse on a small field with a small goal. Give one of our box programs a try and you will quickly see why we have players driving from NJ and Long Island to play for our teams. We are commited to bringing the game of box lacrosse to the Northeast by providing excellent coaching and instruction and genuine box lacrosse play. We are teaching faking and shooting, two-man game play, substitution patterns and box specific strategy.
If you want to play REAL box lacrosse, you have to play for Team Superstar.....think INSIDE the BOX!!!
IMPORTANT: A few questions to ask about a prospective box lacrosse program before you sign-up:
WHO is doing the coaching? WHAT is his specific box lacrosse experience? Has he ever played REAL box lacrosse?
WHEN will we will play REAL box lacrosse in an actual box lacrosse arena, with boards?
HOW big is the goal? Will the goalie be wearing box lacrosse goalie equipment and holding the stick the proper way?
Are we playing by USBOXLA or US Lacrosse Sanctioned Box Lacrosse Rules? Or are we playing field lacrosse rules on a small field?
